August is Peach & Watermelon Month!
Peach and watermelon are some of the most sought after flavors of the summer, so we will be featuring new and current dishes with these fruits!
National Watermelon Day is August 3rd, so we will be offering our watermelon specials for the full first week of August. The fruit will appear in many different preparations such as smoked, iced, and grilled. Specials include Brussels Sprouts with feta cheese, smoked pickled watermelon and aged balsamic, Mackerel Crudo with watermelon ice, jalapeno vinegar, scallion and toasted sesame seeds, and Crispy Chicken with grilled watermelon, black eyed pea puree, and wilted collards.
Items already on the menu that feature the fruit are the Watermelon Salad (Sheep milk ricotta, arugula, radicchio, raspberries, lavender balsamic vinaigrette) and the Compressed Watermelon, with goat cheese crema, madeleine cakes, jalapeno sorbet – because who can forget Dessert?
Peach is renowned to be equally refreshing, so check out what we’ll be offering here: Peach & Collard Salad with peaches, pinenuts, pecorino, golden currants, and charred lemon vinaigrette, Grilled Eggplant with basil salsa verde, smoked peach honey, and roasted garlic goat cheese, and Snapper & Peaches with corn, peaches, chilies, chorizo bean puree and basil gelee. These specials will be featured August 22nd through the 28th.
Our newly updated Lady Lincoln cocktail is now made with Peach Shrub and Peach Bitters to reflect this juicy fruit. Sip it at your table or at the Bar with our Peach Crisp Dessert!
