LINCOLN Proudly Participates in the 13th Annual Capital Food Fight

It’s the season for giving back! This year the LINCOLN team, spearheaded by Executive Chef Demetrio Zavala, was proud to once again participate in the Capital Food Fight benefiting DC Central Kitchen. The innovative organization provides nutritious meals for 80 nearby nonprofit partners and 15 Washington DC schools, trains unemployed men and women to begin culinary careers, partners with local farms to bring fresh produce and fare to those who need it and more.

With José Andrés and Good Stuff Eatery’s Spike Mendelssohn hosting, the LINCOLN Restaurant team served guests for charity. It is always great fun making the rounds with food critics and national “food celebs,” including our own Chef-Lebrity Demetrio who recently appeared on The Food Network’s “Chopped.”

Stop by LINCOLN in DC’s Penn Quarter today and get a taste of what we served, including delicious small bites from our all-new seasonal menus. We look forward to seeing you!
