Summer is in full swing, which means it’s time to switch over our menus to include the season’s freshest and most sought after ingredients!
New dishes range from salads to snappers to short rib. Year-round classics like our Deviled Eggs will now come in new summer varieties, such as Lamb Belly.
Crudo is quickly becoming a restaurant trend, so make sure to try our Mackerel Crudo – made with mango, jalapeno vinegar, roasted garlic, and toasted sesame. It’s a perfect starter as it’s light and refreshing!
From our local farms, Chef Zavala has created a barley risotto, complete with Figs, mushrooms, arugula, basil, and chianti goat cheese. Other farm-to-table plates include Grilled Eggplant, PB&J Brussels Sprouts, and Bone Marrow Potatoes.
Mid-summer months are perfect for seafood. Five new seafood plates find their way onto our Dinner menu. Among them are the pictured Snapper dish (with corn pudding, chorizo bouillabaisse, and preserved sweet tomatoes), Lightly Smoked Salmon, and Soft Shell Crab. In case you missed it, Chef was even featured in a Plate Magazine article where he shared his secrets on making soft shell crab sandwich!
Our staff made sure each new item was ready and delicious for our guests before the new menu came out. So ask your server for his or her recommendations if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the new items!
View the full Lunch and Dinner menus, and make sure to stop by and try them when you’re in the McPherson Square or Thomas Circle area. Enjoy our creative new plates outside on our dog-friendly patio, or cool off inside our dining room. Either way, we hope you love these new dishes as much as we do!
