Every month, The Bar @ LINCOLN features a specialty cocktail and specialty punch bowl for our Spirit of the Month Program.
In homage to our Summer Field Trip Tasting Tour to Catoctin Creek on Sunday July 29th (your chance to tour the first legal distillery in Loudoun County since before the Prohibition), our Spirit of the Month for July is Catoctin Creek Organic Roundstone Rye®
This spirit is one of the only organic whiskeys in the entire nation, and was awarded silver medals at the 2011 American Distilling Institute Whiskey Competition, the 2010 New York International Spirits Competition and the Beverage Testing Institute.
From the distiller: It has a delicious woody taste, with notes of caramel, rich butter toffee, and just a hint of lemon in the nose.
For July, our signature cocktail is “Swing Vote”.
